A Leap into Industry 5.0

 

The history of polypropylene hollow sheet extrusion dates back to the second half of the 1960s, when the first technologies destined to revolutionize the thermoplastics industry were developed at RIAP (Industrial Research Applied to Polyolefins) in Zingonia, in collaboration with Montecatini.

The name Cartonplast was registered in the early 1970s by Covema, a historic Milan-based company founded by Marco Terragni, a key figure in the worldwide spread of these technologies.

Today, more than fifty years later, Agripak also founded by Marco Terragni together with his children Fabio, Massimo, and Patrizia continues this tradition of innovation with the presentation of the largest Cartonplast extrusion line: 3500 mm in working width and a production capacity exceeding 1500 kg.
