PP Hollow profile finds many application in the packaging field: its flexibility together with its resistance make PP hollow profile sheet a priviliged and reliable material for packaging.
Even if Boxpallet is on the market since some decades, circular economy politics are giving it a new market opportunity. Being a reusable and transport costs savings item thus contributing to CO2 emissions and content packaging reduction.
Boxpallet applications can be severals, tipically :
Heavy loads.
Sleeves can be made of high density/thickness PP hollow profile sheets while base and top cover are generally made of harder material such as Injection HDPE. In special cases, according with Customer specs, base and top cover can be made of high density/thickness PP hollow profile sheets.
Light loads.
Two solutions can be conceived:
- Box pallet entirely made of PP hollow profile sheets
- Sleeves made of PP hollow profile sheets while base and top cover made of thermoformed polyolefine
